How did you get the name The Individual, Calm Hill?
*The name "Calm Hill" comes from the fact when I was about 15 years old, I had an
epiphany that God had a big plan for me. Up into a couple of years ago, I assumed it
was music. "The Individual" came about a few years ago when I decided what
direction I was going to take my life in.
Where are you from?
* I was born in Tennessee but I was raised primarily in Northwest Indiana in a city
called East Chicago. I also stayed in neighboring cities Hammond and Gary Indiana.
Are you married, have any kids or any siblings?
* Not married yet but hopefully God is preparing my wife for me. No kids but I do have
a chapter in my book called; "For my Unborn Daughter" I have two younger siblings
by the way.
Where do you stay now?
* I moved to Atlanta Georgia, where I reside currently, to pursue my dreams of
becoming not only an established author but to start a company focusing on
God-help or self-improvement for the Urban community.
What made you want to become an author and start a self-improvement
company?
* For the bulk of my life I wanted to be a rapper and a singer but deep down I knew I
had more to offer to the world. By the time I moved to Atlanta, God rearranged
enough in my life that I couldn't help but to see the path he laid before me. This book
is my introduction and my embracing of what I feel is God's plan for my life.
What can we expect from you in the future?
*I plan on creating the best products I can from books, to seminars, to audio tapes, to
programs, to television & radio that will help us to become the best people we can be.
As equally important, I want to contribute to the world in activism. Just everything that
pleases God and helps our experience.
