Quote From My Book; Walking in the Footsteps of God
I wiped the rain and tears from my eyes suddenly feeling like I need to look across the street. I
squinted to make out this figure slowly moving through the shadows. It was a young brother with very
long dreadlocks walking like he was drunk or hurt, maybe both. I watched as he swayed back and
forth grabbing anything within his reach to keep from falling. Up to that point, he didn‘t mean much to
me. ―Another brother that‘s lost, but what does that have to do with my walk, I asked. ―Does this
make me responsible for his life?
And the Voice of God said…
“No, it doesn’t make you responsible for his life. You are just responsible for taking care of the gifts
that I have given you. See when I give you something, I give it to you expecting others to be blessed
by it as well. Even your hardships.”
